 I was sitting on my computer contemplating on the things that I can post about... Well the color red was sticking out to me, so lets see where this takes me, I won't edit this post at all so let's see how this goes and how much of an idiot I can make myself feel.
Well first I would like to say is, well, my initials are red, so that's pretty cool.
I was drawn to the color red when I was a child, everything I owned/got as a gift/colored/wanted was red. I think because of the whole initial thing, thats why. I love the passionate and boldness of red, it is such a wonderful color.
How I use this color in my spiritual practice:
I am a quick and simple type of pagan, I find that a full on ritual and everything is a waste of time. I often find myself using a candle and inscribing my intentions on it or using paper to burn alongside of it. So I use red candles for many uses, like in the cases of love and passion and rememberance. Also because of the bold color it can be used for protection based spell work.
Also because of the stated propeties of red, you can use it in many ways with ritual garbments and altar cloths and etc.
Friday night I encountered an ad on my smartphone, "Free Tarot Reading." Being an intuitive/tarot reader I was intrigued, I love to get readings from just about everyone that I can. So I clicked on the ad and it brought me to a page that asked for my name and question and date of birth, easy enough. It then gave me an 888 number to call with a code that reflects my question and name. This didn't raise any flags, so I continued. When I called, it told me to speak to a customer service person. This was a bit odd, because I thought I would talk to someone and they would give me a reading and all would be done, but no. So I was introduced to this extremely nice man that told me about the company that I called and asked me a bunch of questions, this was fine and dandy because not everyone understands that getting a tarot reading isn't all smoke and mirrors but a gift that people have, its a gift that can be learned because everyone knows how to do it, its just hiding in the depths of your mind. He then told me that his company charges $7.50 a minute for a reading... I know what you are all thinking, "WHAT THE &^@#!!!!!!!" If you compare that to my services my services are considerably less. He then proceeded to tell me that the average time that the readers take is 30 to 45 minutes that would be a bill of $225 or more for a reading. So what he is telling me is that me as a consumer, I don't have any control of how long that the psychic would be on the phone with me.
I understand that people need to make money, because money makes the world go round, but not that way. I think that my prices here are reasonable and not rediculously inflated. But not everyone can afford to have a reading, that is why I run these giveaways, but in my favor, I AM NOT CHARGING ANYTHING FOR A FREE READING. Its not a lure for you to click, buy or share, its for you from me. I think what has happened is that the words psychic and tarot have become too much of a thrown around term. Also, I think that there is too many people who are mislead and take courses that are a rip off, they then make a website and facebook page, the exact thing that I have done, and want to make millions because a similar company is doing the same. Its not going to happen.
I then also talked to a fellow tarot reading a few days ago and during the conversation we had the discussion of there are too many tarot/psychics on the web and everywhere to be found. I agree but also disagree, I disagree because everyone has something else to throw into the mix, my services WILL be completely different from the ones I have listed on my Friends of the Forest and every psychic you will meet online. Thats the beauty of this business. I do agree though because like I have said before, EVERYONE is born with this gift, except not everyone can access it without training. So you, in all honesty, can do what I do, with some training. So really everyone can make a website, can sell their services, can be in competition with the rest of the tarot readers. But there are those who are not ethical in their ways. So to keep you informed of those who I believe are ethical in their services I have added the Friends of the Forest tab, these people I have dealt with one on one and have experienced their services and would love for you to check them out. Also if you find someone out on the web that you would like to experience their services, first send them an email, ask for more information about thier services, ask for references, if they are good, it will show. So all in all you need to check before you write the check.
So as the title says, who is in the wrong, am I in the wrong for checking an ad on my phone and getting sucked into dumb advertisements. Or were they in the wrong for
I have been asking myself this very question since I started Healing Tree. I have actually sold some hand crafted items at local craft fairs and would like to sell them here on the world wide web. The only problem is that I refuse to put anything on etsy. So in the meantime I am working on a page here that I am able to sell these thing on. If I do start to sell things on here I have a few questions for you;
1. What would you like to see being sold?
2. Would you like shipping to be already apart of the cost or would you like it seperate?
3. Would you like to have the option for custom made items or premade?
4. Any other suggestions?
If you would like to respond to this that would be amazing, you never know you might get something exciting out of doing so, I haven't decided.

 I have been planning on making a video about this topic, but I never did, then I decided to make a blog about this instead. I may still do a video about this, haven't decided yet.
Disclaimer: All these views are my own and you may not believe in these topics the same way I do, which is completely OK, I am just stating my own ideas and helping those who are not informed or would like a second opinion on this topic. I am also not claiming this to be fact nor fiction, this is what I believe to be true to me, not to everyone else.
I have been avidly watching many videos online that dealt with the same topic: haunted dolls. This then sparked the animal in me to check the internet for haunted items of all sorts. The main problem that I had with many of the items was that the seller was confused about the difference between haunted and what I call “energy signatures”. These energy signatures are what I consider to be the change of vibrational energy of an object or place from the repetition of the touch or presence of a person or other living thing. This is what most people are misinterpreting as a haunted object or place.
Now you may be asking, “I really don't understand what this is.” For the longest time, I didn't either. Then one day it dawned on me what was being misinterpreted as an energy “thing”. A signature is something that is unique to each one of us, no matter how many people try to forge it, this is the one thing that defines us as a person, and makes us unique. So an energy signature will be one of those things that is unique to us and only we can make ourselves and cannot be forged. Our energy signatures may change overtime but they will have the same undertone, YOU. These energy signatures can then be transferred from you to any object or place that you are with A LOT. So picture this, every person vibrates at a completely different level than everyone else. So then every object can hold an unlimited amount of vibrations but keeps them separate, so when you touch an object or stand in a room, it would register with your vibrational frequency and then it would contain your energy or energy signature. Then when you would continuously touch or come back to whatever you had before it would continue to register your frequency. When you leave and anyone with any form of energy sensing abilities they would be able to feel your presence. That is why a lot of empaths and energy sensing people like to be at home or in the same places all the time. So that crazy lady who lives down the street may not actually be crazy, she just doesn't like the energy signatures all around her.
As you can see these energy signatures are all around you. There is no way around this. So all objects have a signature attached to it, but the main energy that is associated with it is the signature that most frequently visited it. It is kinda like the cane that an old man had and he may have gotten it from a store where hundreds of other people may have touched that very cane, but he bought it and he used it for 30 years. So that cane, although it was touched by hundreds of people, his signature would be the one that most energy sensors would pick up on. So that being said what objects would you have that have your signature on it and would not be outdone by someones energy that is not your own?
Then people get energy signatures and hauntings mixed up for a few simple and easily mistakable reasons. One, you can sense both presences, like in the instance of the old man and the cane, if he decided one day to get a new cane and get rid of the old one. Anyone with energy sensing abilities they would be able to sense that an old man had the item, they may be able to give certain details with the old mans life but his spirit energy is not attached to it for he is still alive. But for instance if he died and still owned the cane, apart of his spirit energy would be attached to that item. That is why people are so interested in antiques, because they are forever trying to find their missing items. (another topic for another time) Two, there are people that are not adept in knowing the difference, but able to feel energies, so they try to sell their items as a “haunted item”. Then the person that gets the item is disappointed because they are expecting a mystical item that reminisces the old horror films. So then they try to scam the next unwary buyer, making real haunted items have a bad name.
A haunted item is an item that has a piece or a whole persons spirit energy attached to it. A spirit energy is released from a body when someone dies or passes over. Then the spirit energy can then pass over or stay here when there is unfinished business. (I went a little Caspar the Friendly Ghost there, sorry) When it stays here it needs to attach to something, and only appears when something with something that has an energetic signature attached to it, but it needs something with a lot of energy, that is why when you can feel a presence of a spirit/etc your cell phone dies, that spirit energy needs your cellular energy to be there at that moment. I'm not saying that if they didn't have that latest technology that they aren't there, energy is all around us, in forms of heat and cold and everything else, but it is not enough for them, that is why they flock towards more energetic things like your cell phone.
Knowing the difference between the items, you are able to use each to your own benefit. If you have an item that you just don't like the feel of, sit with it for a while see why you don't like it, is it haunted or is it just an energy signature. You can rid of energy signatures in a variety of ways, any way that you feel fit is the correct way, I like to find the best way suited for the job, such as smudge sticks, salt, sprays, meditation, visualization, etc. Like I said, find the best way that suits your needs. But if it is a haunted item, sometimes it could be as simple as ridding it of an energy signature, but sometimes it may actually need some more TLC from an experienced person in the field or you could have one angry MOFO on your butt and have a whole reign of terror in your life, not pretty. Or take the alternative route and GET RID OF IT. But there is a way to rid the item of the spirit, sometimes it is as easy as asking it of why it is still here and it could just take a second opinion from you for it to pass on. Sometimes it could be revenge, it is not recommended to take this revenge on someone or something, BAD JUJU. If you must have the item find someone who is experienced in the field or like I said before, rid yourself of the item, burn, bury or donate. (if the situation is not terribly bad)
